World of Windows made the transition of ownership very easy for us as the new home owners to ensure the window was installed and everything was handled. We got all windows installed few years ago and sliding door installed just recently. Great product at very reasonable prices compared to other companies. We are very happy with the product and service and would recommend them to anyone.

We had 18 windows replaced by World Of Windows. Over all experience was ok. A couple windows were ordered the wrong size and had to reorder. It took longer than original estimate due to the Covid delay at the manufacturer. Kristen and Jen kept us inform every step of the way with the delay and estimate arrival process. We also had a few windows sash didn't fit well with frames and had to re-order. The new sashes were actually worse than the previous ones. Our installer added additional weather stripping to the sash to help with the issue (not sure how often we'll have to call World of windows to replace these weather stripping). Beside all these quality issues with the products, , a few caulking issues were repaired by our installer crew. We had to do additional caulking a few days after the job was complete because initial caulking was coming apart.Our installer Dimitri and his crew were nice and professional.Customer service was outstanding. Both Kristen and Jen were wonderful. They always go above and beyond with their customer service.

World of Window was very Friendly and efficient with installing my door. They pointed out issue with the previous door before they install the new door. My family love the color of the door and the way it was install. It gave my house a different look on the outside. World of Window done a great job. We had new windows installed and they did a fantastic job. We had 16 windows installed and they had it done in less than 1 business day. They arrived on time, explained everything that would be done, confirmed My order with me and got right to work. They were very professional and courteous but also took the time to pet my inside dog, who thought they were there to play with him! Haha!! That impressed me, that they were so friendly to my dog, not all people are like that so I appreciated that. They were very organized and worked in a time efficient manner. When they were done, they showed me everything, explained everything and gave me a chance to ask questions. This work crew was wonderful, I can’t say enough good things about them!

Had a door install and had some issues with the door. Manufacturers had to come out as it was a quality problem, not install. They fixed quickly. Owner Tim cam by and checked up on work. Noticed my weather stripping had been installed backwards after it was removed for painting by a separate company. He removed and corrected it without prompting. Customer service like that doesn’t exist much anymore. I’ll be a customer for life.

I had my master bath updated and decided to replace the starburst or half moon window.The window is above a jet tub and the old window was single pane glass. I had a shade for the old window. I arranged for World of Windows to install their fully tempered sunburst window with obscure glass for privacy. My home has decorative accents on all sunburst windows and their window has the accent inside the glass which I really liked. Everyone that has seen the window, loves it. An amazing company from the point of showing you the product to the point of installation. They took all the safety precautions necessary under this uncertain times. They also came out to my home on a Saturday to fix my window which I had accidentally taking off the hinge while cleaning. We wanted to upgrade our patio door. It was the original door built with my townhouse. The frame was no longer supporting the glass properly and we didn’t open it at all. Closing it was a beyond a challenge. I originally wanted French doors. After the salesman came to our home and presented his material I went with another sliding door. Our patio door is an oversized door. He presented one with a wide frame and it is absolutely beautiful. I could not be more pleased with the door. I could not be more please with the door! Yep I said it twice.😌 The door is better than I imagined it would be. During the waiting period I kept thinking 🤔 “should I have ordered the French Door?” The crew came to our home and professionally installed patio door. The installation went quicker than I expected. The crew answered all of my questions. My old door had the old fashioned bar to add additional protection. My new door has a lock on the handle and a lock at the bottom to secure it. I will definitely recommend and will use them again when I replace windows.

Replaced external French Door, able to find style needed, timeframe for ordered door arrival met. The installers were professional and friendly. They replaced rotten wood and added extra pan to ensure door fitted and would drain correctly. I would use them again.

Great job! Took out old windows, made needed seal repairs, installed new windows, cleaned up everything, and took away old windows...can't ask for more than that! And we're already seeing savings in both heating and cooling costs. World of Windows was recommended to us, and we recommend them to everyone. Also, if you're interested in changing storm doors, I highly recommend you choose the Larson doors World of Windows sells, and have them install them. The doors are the best, but I chose to get them elsewhere and have them installed by another contractor...and paid much more than World of Windows would have charged because I had to have some repairs done afterwards. The doors are pricey no matter where you buy them, but getting installation done correctly the first time is a great savings!

The install of my patio doors was seamless and efficient. The crew was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. One can never go wrong using this company.I choose a window installer that claimed to always be there well they left the place clean but fail in their follow up for issues. So when it came time to replace doors I called a World of a Windows .The install was professional the place left meticulous even the floor was vacuumed.I needed to call for a follow up visit as the door needed to be tweaked THE OWNER AND HIS WIFE SHOWED UP ON A SATURDAY to fix the issue. They are a fabulous company and when they say lifetime they mean it .There is no well we don’t cover that or no it’s someone else’s problem or it’s the weather etc ,they just take care of any problem. The experience was basically good the salesman who sold the window was on time and he left all the appropriate information regarding the company and about the length of time until the window would be installed. Then came the first survey called during work hours and stated to be a few min and I had to leave the call while I was working. Then when the window was ready to be installed I received a call. From a gentleman he wanted to know when could he install I stated that it would have to be a Saturday he told me he did not want to make his men work on Saturday didn’t I have someone who could let them in and lock up after they were done? No sir we all work Monday Thur Friday . The installers were great they arrived when they said they would the job was done and that’s it then another survey Will I use them again ...No the and of all the survey questions they never asked that Humm

I do not normally write reviews but this company rated a high quality evaluation. Please read the entire post in order to get the full impact of quality of workmanship and customer service that this company has provided.It is just a few weeks shy of 10 years since I had my windows installed with World of Windows. Approximately 2 months ago, I noticed the wallboard around one of my windows was damp and was need of repair. I figured it was just age and called in a local handy to fix it. He mentioned something about the installation but I was not paying a lot of attention I just needed it fixed. Approximately two weeks ago there was leakage around three more windows and here is where I starting to get concerned. I found my contract with World of Windows and I noted they had a lifetime guarantee. So, I called the company (expecting to get a run around about limitations and age) but I spoke with a wonderful person by the name of Erica. I explained my dilemma and she set up an appointment (within two days) for someone to come out and look at my windows and repair the problem. Again, let me stress that this is ten years after I had them installed. Not only that but this was not the original owner that I had contracted with in 2009. Apparently, the original owner (who had no customer service) sold his franchise in 2010 shortly after my windows were installed. Hence these new owners were not the original installers. Why is that important? It was important as the installation crew, who were very knowledgeable and professional, came out as scheduled and fixed my windows and were very pleasant to deal with. The installer mentioned something about the “J” channel and how it was not there. We had a rainstorm shortly thereafter and the repairs held up. Now you would think that this is the end of the story… it is not; a few days ago I received another call from Erica who stated that the Head installer (I believe his name is Igor) was extremely upset with the way my windows were installed and wanted to come back out and redo all of my windows to prevent any future damage. Today, he brought a full crew with him and they are in the process of redoing all of my windows. I was just floored that a company, who had not completed the original installation came out and are fixing all of my windows. I have never had this happen in my many years of dealing with companies. I cannot praise this company enough and the workmen ship is impeccable.Therefore, I go back to the beginning of this message and say that World of Windows is one of the best companies that I have every had the pleasure of dealing with. If you want High quality, excellent customer service and a company that truly cares about you then this is the company to go with…

I have used World of Windows 5 times to replace old windows with new double-paned vinyl replacement windows. The first 4 times were with rental properties that I owned or managed. This last time was with my personal residence. What I like most about them is their business model. The pricing is transparent and there are no tricks or gimmicks, like buy 1 ridiculously overpriced window and get another free. They also do not pressure you to sign the contract on the same day or try other gimmicks like giving you a 10 percent discount if you sign the same day. I got quotes from these other places that advertised amazing sales or offered big discounts if I signed right then and there. Guess what - World of Windows still had the lowest price for a very similar product! Since I used them in the past and was pleased with the results, I chose them a 5th time. I could not have asked for more! The windows are beautiful, and the install team did a great job of wrapping all of the exterior wood moulding with aluminum. Neighbors up and down the street commented on how nice my new windows look. And we had a massive rain storm the day after installation - not one leak. The lifetime warranty on accidental glass breakage and seal failure is great too!

World of Windows installed a replacement double patio door/window unit that was competitively priced. The quality upgrade includes a drip pan base that protects the door from water damage and energy efficient double pane glass windows. They arrived within the scheduled time, laid tarps to catch dust, and vacuumed cleanup upon completion.

Very nice and professional team. Crew and windows are top notch. Love the way they look and function. They were very flexible with my schedule and allowed us to keep our dog inside while they were working. That one had me worried but they were great. They also were very neat while completing the job. Very good experience overall.

Trevor was knowledgeable and did well explaining the key points of the windows. He didn’t pressure me or try to upsell me. The windows came in as predicted in six weeks. They had a cancellation for the following day and were able to complete my installation in one day. There were a few small nails in my driveway I discovered recently and a small broken piece of glass. Other than that everything was clean and disposed of following the installation

I had a new kitchen window installed about. Month ago. I didn’t realize for a couple days there was a small problem with it. I called the office on a Sunday to leave a message, thinking I would get a call back on Monday morning. I was called back on Sunday in just a few minutes. He had me send him a picture of the problem. They ordered a new one, came out yesterday to replace it. The whole process was so easy and very professional. These last installers were awesome. And the company seems to stand behind the product. Will definetly use again in the future .

World of Windows was fantastic in installing 9 sets of patio doors in my home. The house I just purchased had rotting doors, so I needed a quality focused install to fix the problems. World of Windows assured me they could handle the job and also recommended their fiberglass doors and panels to avoid any future problems. SC weather can be tough on doors.I was pleased to find out that I could get mini blinds installed inside the glass too. These mini blinds are incredible too. I can tilt the blind as much as I want or completely retract the blinds.All said and done, I have a lifetime warranty, great style, wonderful functionality, and all this for a fraction the cost of all those other window and door companies!This is my 4th property that I had World of Windows install. The other three properties were in other states, but all are backed by the same warranty.On my second property, I had a problem with two of the windows. When I called the company, their first comment was “we are so sorry, but we will replace it”. Wow, now that’s great customer service that is unparalleled in any other window company.My advice is, get as many estimates as you want, but you won’t find any company that can beat World of Windows pricing and quality.

Great looking window . Was referred to by a friend. Installers were right on time . Was here all day. Cleaned up very good when finished.My only complaint is I wish the original estimator had told me my current window shades would not fit the new windows. That was a $2,500 mistake on my part.

We found the price to be more than reasonable, the install quick & painless & the field personnel totally professional & courteous.AND the product..... I had no idea how much better my brick ranch would look by replacing my double hungs & storm windows the W.O.W. products. Driving up as the crew was finishing, the curb appeal was dramatically improved. Plus the operating features of the windows are quite efficient & ergonomic.Of course, energy savings was the big motivator & I'm totally impressed! The first monthly power bill I received for June 2018 only included 2 weeks with the new windows. Duke now includes a comparison to the previous year & after just 1/2 month with the W.O.W. product, June 2018 was 28% less than June 2017! It makes me look forward to our July bill! It was rough to start but unfortunately that is the way old houses are. Tim was very helpful on the phone and Justin's crew that came out was very professional. The install crew did an awesome job. The installation team did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, explained everything about my windows and doors, and even fixed my trim around one of the windows. We purchased Window World windows in 2002. The dealer that we bought them from went out of business. We had a problem with a window release latch and tried to find a company that would honor our warranty. We called World of Windows of the Carolinas and found they held our warranty. Would have given a higher score, but one of the installers did not put 3 stone lawn statues back in place. I did not see it until after I left the first review. They did the work as trained. They were not very friendly.

I highly recommend them because they work with you to get the financing you need to get any job done. Their installers are friendly, courteous and do the job REALLY good. We have been remodeling our house while living in it for a few years. When time came to start replacing windows we reviewed several window replacement companies including ones advertised on TV. In the end we selected World of Windows-Charlotte because of price, quality of product and great customer service. The installers were great as well and were an extension of the sales team. Anyway, we love our windows and will continue to use World of Windows-Charlotte.

We replaced all of the windows in our home in 2009. We priced windows with several companies and what attracted me to World of Windows was the lifetime guarantee! During the installation process they took their time and did a great job. We've had excellent customer service. We had a seal break in one window and they had a new one out to us and installed within three weeks at no charge to us.Great company to do business with!

I purchased 7 double hung windows from World of Windows of Charlotte (aka Window World) in mid June. I own a small, 1 bedroom/1 bath condo in the heart of Myers Park in Charlotte NC. My condo's exterior walls are full of windows. The windows at my charlotte condo were made of wood, had been glazed over at least 4 times and looked terrible. My sales person was actually the owner of the business and he quickly measured my windows and quoted me roughly $2600. I added Low Argon E double pane glass and upper hung grids, to match the existing window pattern in my condo complex. I was told my windows would be received and installed within 4 weeks. I did have a window unit which had to be removed. To my surprise, my windows were received and installed, as promised, almost to the day quoted, 4 weeks after purchase. The owner was present for installation, my old wood windows, which were rotting, basically fell apart upon removal and my new World of Windows double hung windows look beautiful! I do not understand why it is I feel so happy to have 7 windows in my condo, with screens that I can now open! Here's the best part! The first day I stayed in my condo after my windows were installed, I had to install a new window unit before I would have cold air in my condo, so i was concerned with the temperature of my condo. When i arrived, my condo temperature, on a 100 degree late July day was below 80, that's with no air conditioning and 7 windows occupying more than 50% of my exterior wall space! I could not have been more surprised and delighted to have seen immediately the value in investing into the low e argon energy efficient upgraded window. These windows have several noteworthy features. I believe one is called the night latch, which keeps your window open at a certain height but keeps the window from opening more, also the ease of opening the windows for cleaning appears to be very easy. A few days later I received an email follow up from the store owner form the World of Windows of Charlotte checking in to make sure that him and his crew cleaned up after themselves to my approval. I could not be happier with my decision to purchase from Window World / World of Windows of Charlotte! While it was a decent investment I believe it's likely over a 3 year period of time I'll likely save 25%+ on my heating/cooling costs and over time may recoop my entire investment! I recommend this business and believe you will most likely agree that they care about their customers, are professional and try hard to do a great job! In my situation, they were perfect!
